Past Conclaves

While the main purpose of the Grand Chapter Conclave is to conduct the business of the Fraternity, it is much more than that. Conclave is an excellent opportunity to meet Brothers from all over the country and exchange ideas.

The collegiate and professional chapter delegates, as well as the Supreme Council, District Counselors and Professional Representatives, are required to attend the legislative sessions. All Brothers are encouraged to attend to learn about how the Fraternity is governed and how business is conducted. The legislative sessions take place for less than half the time each day, and the rest of the time is filled with activities as varied as model initiation ceremonies, educational forums, tours of local attractions, and ample opportunities to socialize.

The location of the Grand Chapter Conclave is selected approximately one year before the actual event. Chapters that would like to host Conclave submit bids to the Supreme Council, and the Council decides which bid is the most attractive based upon cost, location and other factors.
